Here’s everything you need to know about tomorrow’s winter update flow for Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition

The winter update stream for Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition will be running on Capcom Fighters Twitch, YouTube and Facebook at 9am PT / 12pm ET tomorrow. In a new audio clip featuring Dan’s voice, we promise some “interesting information” about Street Fighter 5 and Dan Hibiki as playable characters.

We have confirmation that Street Fighter 5 Battle Director Ryuichi “Woshige” Shigeno will appear to also talk about Rose, Season 5 balance changes and new “mechanics” (note the “s”). It looks like this is going to be a pretty long stream.

Based on what was shown during the Fighting EX Layer Garuda costume trailer, we have reason to believe that Akuma may be being hit by a nerf. It looks like your lightweight Hurricane Kick will no longer be able to pass under opponents while they are being manipulated.

At the moment, we have no official confirmation as to who is the fifth and final character of Season 5, but Capcom appears to be suggesting Eleven, an initial prototype of Twelve from Street Fighter 3: Third Strike.

Eleven was seen during the history of Urien’s prologue and was supposedly reused as raw material by Kolin to resurrect Nash. In Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, Twelve was known for excellent aerial mobility and the ability to transform into other fighters.

Of course, everything revealed tomorrow during Capcom’s winter update flow will be covered here at EventHubs. Make sure to tune in with us tomorrow at 9am PT / 12pm ET to see everything while it happens live.
