It’s a new year and Netflix has a new series of titles coming to the platform for your enjoyment. There is a good mix of originals, as well as proven and true favorites spread throughout the month. For originals, be sure to check the second season of Dream Home Makeover, If you like home design. The original Netflix series features designer duo Studio McGee, husband and wife, as they tackle domestic spaces. Next, Nicolas Cage presents the new docuseries History of swearing, breaking the most popular colorful language and its impact in this “proudly profane, funny and engaging educational series”. And explore the complex history of crack in the 1980s with docuseries Crack: Cocaine, Corruption and Conspiracy debuting on January 11th.
And we have to congratulate Netflix for really diving into more international content. The streamer has added more and more international titles throughout the year, including popular Spanish series like Money Heist and Cable Girls. This month, Netflix is releasing its Norwegian film Burning Asphalt, and his own opinion of the French thief Lupine.
And keep an eye on the 3rd season of Snake Kai. The Karate Kid The third season of the spinoff was originally supposed to fall on January 8, but the date is now TBD.
