The story was made at the virtual awards ceremony at the Sundance Film Festival on Tuesday night. Siân Heder’s CODA, a family dramatization about the hearing child of deaf parents, became the first film in the history of the festival to win the Grand Jury Prize, the Direction Award and the Audience Award in the United States Dramatic category. CODA also won the Special Jury Award for Best Set. The film sold for a record $ 25 million to Apple Studios after a bidding war on Sunday. Blerta Basholli’s Hive likewise, he broke records in the World Cinema Dramatic category. Hive, who follows a single mother in the aftermath of the Kosovo war, he won the Grand Jury Prize, the Direction Award and the Audience Award in the Dramatic World Cinema category, becoming the first film in that category to do so.
