Here are the CVS locations in SoCal that will offer COVID-19 vaccines starting next week

LOS ANGELES (KABC) – CVS pharmacies will soon start offering COVID-19 vaccines across California, the company announced on Tuesday.

One hundred company pharmacies, including several locations across Southern California, will administer approximately 81,900 doses starting on Thursday, February 11. You will be able to schedule an appointment as early as February 10.

You must be eligible to receive the vaccine according to the state’s current vaccine distribution plan, which includes healthcare professionals and people aged 65 and over. And you must make an appointment before receiving your dose.

Meanwhile, the state’s top health officials have been discussing plans to change the current vaccine delivery system, suggesting reviews of who will be the next group eligible for inoculation. However, details have not yet been released.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, California is still lagging behind other states in launching vaccines.

Dr. Mark Ghaly, California’s secretary of health and human services, says the state is looking to change that and respond to outrage, as the Golden State’s disabled population has not yet received the vaccine.

“We are leading our vaccination effort, focusing on protecting those who are at greatest risk and those who may suffer the worst consequences of COVID,” he said. “So, working with the disabled community, those who care for people with serious chronic illnesses, begins to galvanize a policy that we will announce later.”
