Shake, take, stop
High-definition remasters of 10-year-old Japanese niche games appear to be a trend this year. This week we’re getting Gal * Gun Returns on Switch and PC, which is the first time that the original game in this series has left Japan. This summer, another wicked game is coming to North America for the first time from Xseed Games.
Akiba Travel: Hellbound & Debriefed is a remaster of Travel over Akiba, which was an updated version of the original Akiba’s journey which was released for the PSP in 2011. The game puts players in the shoes of Akiba Freedom Fighters while they hunt vampires and leave them in their underwear.

It’s a PSP-like game, but it certainly looks a lot more fun than Akiba Beat.
Akiba Travel: Hellbound & Debriefed will be released in North America this summer for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. The standard version will sell for $ 39.99. For $ 10 more, you can get the 10th Anniversary Edition of Day One for PS4 or Switch, which will include an art book and a two-disc soundtrack.
