PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Heinz Field COVID-19 vaccine clinic will offer further consultations.

Giant Eagle announced that it is expanding the clinic after “an extremely positive response”. Additional appointments will be made available through Giant Eagle’s online scheduling tool.
These appointments will run from March 8 to March 9 and will be available on Friday afternoon. Giant Eagle says more consultations can be added when the vaccine is received.

The clinic started this week. Giant Eagle said more than 4,000 people will be filmed between Tuesday and Friday.
It’s for people in Phase 1A of Pennsylvania. Appointments can be made here.
The Allegheny Health Network and Dick’s Sporting Goods are also establishing a mass vaccination site against coronavirus to vaccinate more than 5,000 people in Phase 1A.
Appointments are already scheduled for Friday’s clinic, which is located in the company’s corporate office in Coraópolis. No walk-ins will be accepted.

According to a statement, the clinic is the “largest one-day COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the Greater Pennsylvania region.”
