Heidi Klum just gave a styling class on how to fold bold animal prints – the right way.
On Sunday, Klum – who does not shy away from bold fashion statements – shared a sweet video on Instagram of her and her husband Tom Kaulitz kissing on a bridge with their dogs. For the romantic walk, Klum basked in a cozy brown plush coat.
Klum improved the garment with leopard print pants. The model then completed the look with matching platform boots. Shoes with laces feature black panels at the top and a thick black sole. Klum’s double animal print moment works due to the fact that the pants and shoes are of a similar shade. The patterns are also balanced by the brown coat, making the look look more neutral.
This would not be the first time that Klum played with prints. In November, Klum presented a look from the set of “Germany’s Next Top Model”, which included a mix of two different animal prints. The show host styled a black and white zebra-striped sweater and tiger-print pants. As in Sunday’s look, Klum made sure that the prints were from the same color family. However, this time, she opted for a pointed yellow high heel, giving the outfit a vibrant shine.
When it comes to his work style, Klum is always making a statement. In addition to frequently displaying animal print, she also has fun with prints and textures. One of her most prominent outfits on the set came on December 4, when Klum shared a photo of herself wearing an MSGM from head to toe.
