Gal Gadot gets a role in Tom Harper’s spy thriller Heart Of Stone for Netflix … after the success of Wonder Woman: 1984
Gal Gadot has been confirmed to star in the spy thriller Heart Of Stone, it was reported on Friday.
The next film will be directed by Wild Rose director Tom Harper, who also worked on several episodes of the police drama series Peaky Blinders.
The 35-year-old actress signed an eight-digit contract to appear in the next film, according to Deadline. She became a hit after the success of Wonder Woman: 1984

Heart Of Stone was originally in development at Skydance Media before Netflix took over the project.
The script will be written by old guard writer Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder, who was nominated for an Oscar for her work on the 2016 historical drama Hidden Figures.
Gadot is expected to produce the next feature film with her husband and business partner Yaron Varsano; Together, the couple runs the production company Pilot Wave.
On Thursday, many fans of the actress started speculating that she was preparing to take on a new role when she posted a photo on her Instagram account showing the reading of a script for a future project.

Gadot wrote the caption: ‘Preparing for the next big thing! I absolutely love the feeling before a new project – the excitement, the intrigue, the nerves … I can’t wait to get back to the set. ‘
She did not specify which project she was referring to, although Pilot Wave’s official Instagram account commented: ‘I can’t wait!’
The Justice League actress has a number of film and television projects that are currently in the development stages, including Hedy Lamarr’s biographical miniseries, which she is expected to produce alongside her husband Yaron Varsano.
The show is set to follow the actress’ life from her start in pre-war Europe to her eventual move to the United States, where she made numerous technical discoveries before becoming a recluse.

Gadot’s project was in production at Showtime without receiving a serial order; the series was eventually bought by Apple, which gave the green light for the show in eight episodes; the actress stars in the miniseries as a historical figure.
The Keeping Up with the Joneses actress is also working on a separate biopic focusing on World War II humanitarian Irena Sendler, which she will produce and star in as well.
Israeli film talent is widely known for her role as Wonder Woman in several entries in the DC Extended Universe, most recently appearing on Amazon in 1984’s Wonder Woman, which was released in December.
Gadot will also be seen in director Zack Snyder’s Justice League miniseries, due out in March.
