And to make the next 48 hours even more comfortable, we at Decider are here to help you find out what to watch this weekend and where to broadcast!

New films and programs to broadcast this weekend: Excavation, The little things and Mortal

This weekend is about the Hollywood A-list movies and actors that make them what to watch. Carey Mulligan and Ralph Fiennes will help you get started with your new original Netflix movie, Excavation. But don’t relax for long after joining the streaming platform, because HBO Max is the debut of the long-awaited The little thingsstarring Denzel Washington, Rami Malek and Jared Leto! And if you’re in the mood for something a little more obscure, you should take a look Mortal, the Norwegian mystery thriller that’s new to Amazon Prime Video this weekend. The clock now starts with these great movies! And to start, check out some highlights of the great films and programs now broadcast that we list below:

New to Netflix on January 29: Excavation

Carey Mulligan (Promising young man Woman) and Ralph Fiennes (Sky fall) star in Excavation, the last original new drama film on Netflix this weekend. Based on a true story, this period piece directed by Simon Stone is about a digger (Fiennes) and his team who, while digging a graveyard on a woman’s property (Mulligan) in 1939 England, makes a discovery that changes history . ExcavationThe primary plot serves as a contrast to the themes of history, property and a country on the brink of war that transform one of the most anticipated streaming films of 2021 from a simple dramatization into a beautifully perennial play.

New to HBO Max January 29: The little things

We couldn’t be more grateful that Warner Bros decided to abandon its entire list of 2021 films on HBO Max, because it gives us the chance to see films like John Lee Hancock The little things on HBO this weekend. Starring Hollywood royalty royalty Denzel Washington, Rami Malek and Jared Leto, this neo-noir psychological thriller follows Sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon (Washington) and LA police officer Jim Baxter (Malek) who unite forces to hunt down a serial killer (Leto) who is terrorizing Los Angeles. But the closer Baxter gets to arresting the culprit, the more Deke’s past comes to light, revealing disturbing secrets that may threaten more than just the case. Captivating, intense and full of stars, The little things it’s a must-see movie. No, seriously, you must watch before it is taken off the platform in 30 days!

New on Prime Video January 29: Mortal

What’s new on Amazon Prime Video this weekend is Mortal, the fantasy and mystery thriller that really burns people (you’ll understand the pun soon, I promise). The Norwegian-English film centers on a psychologist who tries to help a mysterious man who discovers he has the power to make people and objects burn by touching them. Get it now? Starring Nat Wolff and Priyanka Bose as the unlikely duo, Mortal combines the characteristics of superhero and suspense films to offer a truly unique performance.
