The film will only be available on HBO Max for one month. It is currently available as a high-priced rental in the UK, Canada and other countries where Max is not an option.
O WW84 audience and accelerated work in Wonder Woman 3 it’s not surprising. Most US movie theaters are closed due to COVID-19, and the holiday would have left many people at home anyway. Much like Pixar’s Soul, Wonder Woman it had a large potential audience that could not visit the family or mark the holidays as usual. Still, it could help WarnerMedia justify its decision to broadcast all of its 2021 films on HBO Max – it could keep people subscribed long after the news dissipates, at least until it’s really safe to return to theaters.
