In 2021, Warner Bros. everything goes in streaming with HBO Max in a way that is almost certain to solidify the streaming service as a must-see destination for consumers looking to watch some of Hollywood’s latest feature launches.

While Warner Bros. ‘ plans to launch its entire list of 2021 films on HBO Max simultaneously with its theatrical releases it was once a bold and disruptive movement that sent shock waves across the industry, it is not the way the studio will try to attract people deeper into its digital garden Starting January 1, Bruce Timm and Paul Dini Batman: the animated series and Batman Beyond will be available for streaming in its entirety along with other animated projects on the platform.

Previously, both The animated series and Beyond lived in DC Universe (soon to be renamed DC Universe Infinite), the comic book publisher’s platform that was originally where new episodes of Harley Quinn, Titans, and Doom Patrol debuted. At the same time, this movement further consolidates all Warner Bros. content. in one place, he highlights DC’s plan to make a more focused effort to get people to buy comics digitally. It is interesting that companies seem to be moving away from their previous plans to present their entire portfolio as a huge buffet with a superhero touch for people to stuff themselves.
