Twitch streamer, Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker, intervened to defend Mizkif amid controversy over racism charges against 4Conner.
The incident involving the Twitch 4Conner streamer is just the latest controversy in the world of Twitch drama. On February 20, 4Conner had chat logs of past conversations leaking, which exposed racist, sexist, homophobic and transphobic comments.
Since then, 4Conner has announced it was leaving Twitch in the near future, and has issued an apology for its actions. Mizkif, who had previously collaborated with 4Conner in the past, announced that he had banned the wretched streamer from his home.
In Hasan’s stream, a viewer accused Mizkif of being “equal” to 4Conner. “He’s just better at hiding it,” they said.

4Conner apologized after the offensive messages he sent were leaked.
Hasan supports Mizkif
The comment generated a passionate response from Hasan, who said in his experience Mizkif never behaved inappropriately.
“So here’s the thing,” he said. “I don’t know what his background is, I don’t know what he did in the past, but according to all the interactions I had with Mizkif and I talk to him from time to time, he is nothing like that.
“I don’t know if people are trying to hang on and turn this into an extra drama. He may have been a complete idiot at that time.
“But from what I’ve seen, either as a result of his success with Twitch or because he really grew up a little and started to improve. He doesn’t look like that at all. “
Mizkif has already received criticism for his actions due to his association with the controversial streamer Ice Poseidon, and was suspended from Twitch in 2019 for “inappropriate” comments at an event. But he’s only been banned once since: for accidentally showing nudity in the stream.
Hasan also condemned the comments made by 4Conner on the Discord channel.
“I love sharp humor,” he said. “But this is the deepest dog shit. You’re just trying to shock by saying super racist shit with the hope that the people around you will respond.
“All you’re going to do is attract really awful people who are also not funny.”
It is not yet clear whether Twitch will take official action at 4Conner. Twitch’s policies leave room for them to take action against streamers for their words and actions outside the platform itself, and other streamers faced punishment for comments made on other social media.
