Harry Styles’ 2021 Grammy acceptance speech is censored, Twitter wonders why

On Sunday night, Harry Styles won his first Grammy award for his single “Watermelon Sugar”.

The 27-year-old singer took home the trophy for best solo pop performance and during his acceptance speech, Styles was censored leaving fans on Twitter wondering what exactly he said.

“I am so grateful to be here, thank you,” he started before CBS interrupted him. “Thank you very much. I am very honored to be among you all.”

Another fan from Australia confirmed what Styles said and tweeted, “I loved how in Australia they didn’t yell at Harry saying f – king, but everywhere else they did.”

Styles beat Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift to win.

Other big winners were Beyonce. After her two victories, Queen B made history by winning the highest number of Grammy awards for a female artist, with 28 awards.

Megan Thee Stallion took home the coveted best new artist trophy. Taylor Swift’s “folklore” won the album of the year, Billie Eilish and brother Phineas won the record of the year for “Everything I Wanted”, and HER won the song of the year for “I Can’t Breathe”.
