Harry and Meghan drive a £ 170,000 Range Rover – just like the Royals prefer

THE The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen driving across California in a £ 170,000 Range Rover – just like the favorites of royalty, from the Queen and Prince Philip to the Cambridges.

However, although the company has a lease with the royal family that allows them to use a fleet of their new vehicles, it is not known if the couple still makes use of it, since they are no longer members of royalty.

An Invictus Games source told Mail On Sunday that the couple is not entitled to a free vehicle through sponsorship by the automaker for an event that is scheduled for The Hague next year.

Prince Harry and Meghan said they were ‘cut’ financially from the royal family after leaving real life last year.

In the couple’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke of Sussex said they had to close deals with Netflix and Spotify – estimated at £ 80 million – to pay for his safety after his family cut him off.

Asked about the money-generating partnerships, Harry said to Miss Winfrey: ‘My family literally cut me off financially and I had to pay for security for us.

‘But I have what my mother left me, and without it, we would not have been able to do that.’

Before departing from his royal duties, Harry received the vast majority of his income from the Duchy of Cornwall – a portfolio of properties and financial investments administered by Prince Charles.

Earlier today it was revealed that more than 90 minutes of unpublished footage from Oprah’s interview could be broadcast to the public by ITV.

A source told Sunday People: ‘There is a lot of interest in showing the interview in full.

“The original program was the biggest show of the year so far in the UK and was purchased by companies around the world.”

They added: ‘Oprah’s producer knows it is in a gold mine, so it is possible that a deal could be struck.’

This comes after CBS host Gayle King said she talked to the Sussex, who told her that conversations between Prince Harry, his brother and his father, Prince Charles, “were not productive.”

She told CBS This Morning: ‘Well, I’m not trying to break the news, but I really called to see how they were feeling, and it’s true, Harry talked to his brother and he talked to his father too.

“The word they gave me was that these conversations were not productive. But they are happy that they at least started a conversation.

– And I think what still worries them is that the palace keeps saying that they want to resolve this in private, but still, they believe that these false stories are coming out, that they are very disparaging against Meghan.

‘No one in the royal family has spoken to Meghan yet, at this particular moment.

‘And I think it’s frustrating for them to see that it’s a racial conversation about the royal family when all they wanted all the time was for royalty to step in and tell the press to stop the unfair, inaccurate and false stories that they definitely have a racial inclination character.

– And until you recognize that, I think it will be difficult to move on. But they both want to move forward with this and they both want healing in this family. At the end of the day, this is Harry’s family. ‘

The Cambridges did not discuss the rift the interview caused, although a week ago Prince William was forced to speak at another real event and publicly strike back at Harry and Meghan’s racist allegations, insisting: ‘We are not a racist family’.

This happened after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said that racism expelled them from Britain in their two-hour CBS interview.

Prince Harry also said that he felt disappointed in his father and wanted to heal the relationship, but ‘a lot of pain has happened’.
