Harnett County Clinic is open to all frontline employees, expects to vaccinate 3,000 in a single day :: WRAL.com

– Harnett Health System will host its first mass COVID-19 vaccine clinic for essential frontline workers in Group 3 on Friday.

The clinic will be open from 9 am to 3 pm at Dunn City Community Center at 205 Jackson Road.

According to authorities, the Harnett Health System has administered 14,000 vaccines since March, hosting mass clinics every week. Friday’s clinic will be the first one open to all frontline workers. Organizers hope to vaccinate at least 3,000 people in a single day – twice the amount of vaccines normally administered at their clinics.

Handling and handling services will be available and scheduling is not necessary. The clinic will be run by staff at the Harnett Health System hospital and by nursing and medical students at Campbell University.

“I will feel that this will give me a little more insurance and more relief – more comfortable than I am now,” said Oscar Rodriguez, 70, who appeared before 5:30 am to wait for his second shot of the vaccine.

People who fail to get the vaccine on Friday can visit a clinic at Western Harnett High School in Lillington on Wednesday, March 10, between 10 am and 2 pm
