Hannity accuses White House of trying to ‘buy time’ for Biden with ‘cognitive difficulties’

Sean Hannity accused the Biden government on Tuesday of trying to hide the fact of the president’s “decline” in acuity.

“What’s going on with the President of the United States, Joe Biden? Seriously. What’s wrong?” the host of “Hannity” asked rhetorically. “The American people deserve answers. He has almost no public events. His vice president, Kamala Harris, is taking individual calls with world leaders. That would be the job of the commander in chief.”

Hannity noted reports that Biden usually goes to bed before prime time on television, in contrast to former President Donald Trump, who used to wake up at dawn.

Hannity went on to criticize White House press secretary Jen Psaki for refusing to give a firm answer about when Biden’s first solo press conference will take place. The president is expected to speak to the nation on Thursday night about the continued response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“See what is going on here? They are clearly trying to buy time,” said Hannity. “They absolutely know that Joe Biden is struggling cognitively. He’s a walking risk … He can barely read on a teleprompter.”

The host added that he had “a theory on how all this is going to play out. Strangely, for now, I will keep this to myself. I will share it in due time.”

Hannity asked why White House officials “continue to hide President Biden? What do they know? You, we have a right to know.”

“More importantly, what did they know about Biden during the campaign? Who knew what and when? … The people around Joe Biden knew that the real Joe Biden was the biggest risk in his campaign.”

In addition, Hannity said, “Every Democrat needs to be asked, do they see Joe struggling cognitively? It’s a legitimate question. It’s a question that Democrats and the media crowd had no problem asking about Ronald Reagan in 1984 … they had it’s okay to raise these issues with John McCain when he was running in 2008 … The guy now sleeping soundly on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is not the same guy I remember just four years ago.
