“My pregnancy was 100% planned,” she continued, “and I worked really hard to get this baby. But I would be very happy even if it was otherwise. ‘
The Grammy nominee is expecting her first child with boyfriend Alev Ayden, a screenwriter.

In the February 18 post, the founder of About Face wrote that ‘she has been thinking a lot about my body. It is strange to see yourself changing so quickly.
“I thought pregnancy would give me very strong binary feelings about ‘femininity’, but in fact it leveled my perception of gender entirely,” continued Halsey.
‘My sensitivity to my body made me hyper-conscious of my humanity and that’s all. Doing a remarkable thing. And it’s great. I hope the feeling lasts. ‘

Halsey announced that she was pregnant in late January. She shared the news with her 22 million followers on Instagram by posting three photos by photographer Sam Dameshek.
In one of the photos, the beauty added a rainbow crochet bra to indicate that this is her ‘rainbow baby’, after a miscarriage years ago.
A ‘rainbow baby’ is the name of a healthy baby born after the loss of a baby due to a miscarriage, loss of baby, stillbirth or neonatal death. The word rainbow is chosen because the rainbow appears after a storm.
