Halsey cancels Manic Tour because of COVID-19 concerns

The North American portion of the Halsey Manic World Tour – in support of their third album of the same title – was initially scheduled to begin in June 2020. The journey was later postponed to the summer of this year. She, however, managed to play some European dates last March, before the close.

Now, with uncertainty about the virus still lingering, Halsey has chosen to cancel the Manic tour and reimburse ticket buyers.

“Despite our absolute best efforts, there is no guarantee that I will be able to tour on the currently scheduled dates,” the singer wrote in a statement. “I miss seeing all of you in the crowd every night more than anything, but I need to prioritize your health and safety. That said, the Manic tour was officially canceled. As much as we wanted to hope that this tour could eventually happen, our priority now is to return the ticket money to you immediately. “

Since the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, thousands of shows, tours and festivals around the world have been delayed or canceled in an effort to slow the spread of the virus.
