As part of a recent Halo Infinite Q&A with Quinn DelHoyo of 343 Industries, who works on the developer’s Sandbox team, DelHoyo explained the ways in which the developer plans to add new weapons and features and generally update the video game after launch. Although he doesn’t say “don’t expect Halo 7 to be released soon”, he explicitly states that the developer has no intention of launching Halo Infinite and go to the next thing.
“Something that makes us very excited is that this is not just a Halo game that we are going to release and then finish and move on to the next Halo title,” DelHoyo states as part of a larger response over 14 minutes of video on paper in Halo InfiniteBulldog’s shotgun and how other weapons fit into it, “but we will always be looking at how we will continue to update this game.”

The idea that Halo Infinite will receive several continuous updates after launch, which is not exactly shocking. Increasingly, video games – especially those with multiplayer elements – have seen a shift to something like a live service platform, rather than a fully encapsulated version. THE Halo Infinite The people who play at the launch can be significantly different from those who play a year later. It also fuels longer periods when no new installments of the video game franchise are released. Just look, for example, at the continued relevance of Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online.
Halo Infinite is set to launch later this year for the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. The Xbox Series X | S is currently available for $ 399 and $ 299, respectively, if you can find any of them in stock anywhere. You can check out all of our previous coverage of the next Halo title here.
