This Gwyneth Paltrow candle did not pass the smell test, according to a report.
A “This Smells Like My Vagina” candle that the actress sells on Goop burst into flames in the living room of a UK woman who won the odorous product in a test, Sun reported.

“The candle exploded and emitted huge flames, with pieces flying everywhere,” said Jody Thompson, 50, to the outlet.
“I’ve never seen anything like this. The whole thing was on fire and it was too hot to touch. There was hell in the room, ”added Kilburn, North London media consultant.

Thompson, who lives with his partner, David Snow, said they threw the burning candle out the front door.

“It could have burned the place down. It was scary at the time, but funny, looking back, the candle from Gwyneth’s vagina exploded in my living room, ”she said.
Paltrow, 48, launched the $ 75 candle emitting her private perfume in January 2020.
The aroma notes include geranium, citrus bergamot and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with apricot rose and ambreta seeds, according to its online store.

“This candle started as a joke between perfumer Douglas Little and GP”, says the website. “They were both working on a fragrance, and she blurted out,“ Uhhh … it smells like a vagina ”- but it evolved into a funny, beautiful, sexy and beautifully unexpected scent. (It turned out to be perfect like a candle.) ”
