Looks Gwen Stefani was starting to wonder if she was crazy to think that Blake Shelton I would never propose.
The singer “Hollaback Girl” appeared in The Tonight Show on Tuesday, January 6th, where she told the host Jimmy Fallon that the 44-year-old country superstar took so long to ask the question that she was starting to worry about their future together. As fans remember, Gwen announced on social media on October 27 that Blake finally proposed to her after five years together.
“I wasn’t expecting it at the time,” she told Jimmy on the talk show. “I had no idea, nobody knew. I think he told my dad on my birthday about two weeks ago, and I have to tell you, I was like, what’s going on with us?”
The 51-year-old No Doubt artist added in the video below, “I was kind of in my mind, we’ve been together for a long time. What’s going on? I was in that place in my head.”
