During the second quarter of Super Bowl 2021, T-Mobile debuted its highly anticipated commercial with some familiar faces from The voice. It all started when Gwen Stefani expressed his hopes of dating a few years ago with another coach Adam Levine.
“I think I’m ready to start dating again,” she explained to the Maroon 5 vocalist. “I’m sick of LA guys. I want someone completely different. Maybe from another country and someone who is cultured and sensitive and who is not threatened by a strong and confident woman.”
Unfortunately, Adam had an irregular network that was not of the quality of T-Mobile. As a result, he heard something completely different. “I’m sick of LA guys,” Gwen shared. “I want someone completely country, uneducated and threatened by a strong and confident woman.”
Adam replied, “I’m with your guy.” Fast forward to a romantic dinner where Gwen was shocked to see Blake Shelton enter wearing your signature jeans and flannel button down. Little did she know that in real life, No doubt singer would end up getting engaged to the country singer in October 2020.
