Greenville, South Carolina, ranks as the 6th best small town in the United States at the 2020 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. This is the fourth time that Greenville, South Carolina, has been nominated for the prestigious Readers’ Choice Awards, announced this morning.
Condé Nast Traveler readers cast more than 715,000 votes, evaluating their travel experiences around the world. In these unusual years, readers’ votes have an even greater weight, because they show what is most important at a time when people cannot travel the way they want.
“The results of this year’s survey, conducted at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, are a testament to the lasting power of a meaningful travel experience,” said Jesse Ashlock, editor of Condé Nast Traveler in the United States. “The winners represent the best of the best for our audience and offer a lot of inspiration for planning trips for all the adventures we can’t wait for next.”
Charleston (# 1) and Greenville (# 6) were the only cities in South Carolina to make this list, along with an impressive lineup of some of the most notable destinations in the United States.
