A new Grand Theft Auto rumor predominantly about GTA 6 is circulating within the GTA community, and although the rumor is mainly related to GTA 6 and what’s going on with its development, it looks like Rockstar Games has something in development for GTA San Andreas. Unfortunately, the rumor does not publicize much more, but it does suggest that it is connected to the anniversary of the upcoming game.
The rumor comes from an anonymous source and raises some red flags, but it is circulating and being chosen, and the most interesting thing is that it comes after the rumor last month, from slightly more reliable sources, that Rockstar Games is not just working in a remastering of the GTA San Andreasbut Vice city and GTA 3 remasters too.
What is not clear is why the rumor mentions the game’s anniversary as if it were an explanation of why Rockstar Games is trying to revive GTA San Andreas somehow. The game’s birthday is not until October, and even so it will be the game’s 17th birthday, which would be a pretty random birthday to celebrate.
For now, consider everything here with a great grain of salt, since nothing here is official and because it is mixed with speculation. In fact, the rumor itself would be much less noteworthy if it didn’t appear at the back of last month’s rumor stating something similar.
At the time of publication, Rockstar Games did not comment on this rumor in any way, and this is unlikely to change, as the company maintains a very strict “no comment” policy when it comes to rumors.
