ATLANTA – Channel 2 Action News I heard that Governor Brian Kemp is due to announce on Tuesday that all adult Georgians will soon be able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
The governor is expected to give a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, where it appears that the announcement will be made official.

Kemp had previously said that he hoped to be able to open the vaccination for all adult Georgians sometime in April.
He said last week that Georgia was about to see a big increase in the number of vaccines should be receiving from the federal government.

Earlier this month, Kemp said Georgians 55 and older and those with certain medical conditions could receive the vaccine. This is expected to change on Tuesday.
On Monday night, more than 3.2 million doses of the vaccine were administered across the state.
Soon, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be a federal mass vaccination site, being able to administer around 6,000 doses per day.
