Batman’s new title, “Gotham Knights”, from the developer of “Batman: Arkham Origins”, has been postponed until 2022.
The announcement came through the game’s official social media channels, with Warners saying that they are “giving the game more time to provide the best possible experience for players”.
The title was first announced in August last year with the Owls Court to serve as villains. Set just after Bruce Wayne’s death, the game features Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin joining forces to keep Gotham’s villains under control and keep order in the city.
Although not officially a “Batman: Arkham Knight” sequel, the game is heavily inspired by that franchise created by Rocksteady Studios. This company is working on a “Suicide Squad” game that is also scheduled for 2022.
