Gorilla Glue Resolves Accident with Tessica Brown Hair

Gorilla Glue said she “regrets a lot” about the situation with Tessica Brown, who went viral after posting about how she accidentally used the company’s spray adhesive to protect her hair.

In his original TikTok, which has been seen almost 20 million times, Brown shares that he used the Gorilla Glue product to finish his ponytail after finishing his usual hair spray. That decision tragically led to a month-long effort to undo the damage, with many supporters following his journey.

In a follow-up TikTok, Brown vigorously rubs the shampoo on his hair, to no avail. “This is the life I have to live,” she says, almost in tears. Over the weekend, Brown told followers that he went to a hospital for help.

Meanwhile, his family and friends tried other treatments, such as wetting Brown’s head, with seemingly minimal results. Here is a complete timeline of events gathered by Darian Symoné Harvin about her Beauty IRL Newsletter.

On Monday, Gorilla Glue issued a statement acknowledging Brown’s plight.

“We are very sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident that Miss Brown experienced while using our spray patch on her hair,” wrote the company on Twitter. “We are happy to see in your recent video that Ms. Brown received medical treatment from your local medical center and we wish her the best.”

Brown did not immediately respond to BuzzFeed News’s request for comment. A GoFundMe campaign she started on Sunday raised more than $ 10,000, far exceeding the $ 1,500 goal.

Many people online, however, are encouraging Gorilla Glue to do more for Brown in good faith.

“It’s not your fault at all, but I’m sure a little kindness can help a lot for her now,” wrote the user @TuniSharpe.
