A month after using Gorilla Glue to replace her hairspray, Tessica Brown is seeking medical treatment at the hospital.
On Saturday (February 6), TikToker was admitted to the emergency room at St. Bernard Parish Hospital in Chalmette, Louisiana. In a couple of Instagram posts, Brown documents her trip to the hospital to see how she can safely remove Gorilla glue from her hair. After she left, Brown returned home to use the items she received from the hospital. She then logged on to TikTok to give fans a brief overview of her recovery process.
In the video, we can see Brown applying the product on his head, but she doesn’t describe exactly what the treatment is. Before her visit to the hospital, Brown told her followers in a video that she cannot wash Gorilla glue or even shave her head. Brown also said that the glue made his hair tighter on his head, which caused headaches.
Brown managed to attract the attention of the world on Thursday (February 4), when he uploaded a video on TikTok, in which he admits the sticky details of his situation. She started the video by telling her followers that she had her curls parted to the side in a long braid for over a month, and it was not by choice.
“When I do my hair, I like to finish it off with a little Göt2b spray, you know, just to keep it in place,” says Brown in the video. “Well, I didn’t have Göt2b Glued Spray anymore, so I used this one: Gorilla Glue spray. Bad, bad, bad idea. “
Shortly after his video went viral, Gorilla Glue talked to TMZ about a possible way to remove the product without going to the hospital. A spokesperson for Gorilla Glue said his best bet is to use isopropyl alcohol and comb with shampoo. However, they also believe that the product may have damaged its roots. However, they wish her the best.
