Gordon Ramsay has a full house, but his wife Tana is already thinking about the next addition to the family.

The “MasterChef” star revealed to Jimmy Fallon that his wife recently proposed that they have a sixth child during confinement.

“Tana is asking for a sixth in the block,” Ramsay told Fallon during an appearance on “The Tonight Show” on Monday. “Because, literally, two hours ago, our Prime Minister just announced that we are in jail now until the damn February 15th.”

On Monday night, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, announced that England was returning to the complete national blockade – which meant that schools would be closed and people would have to stay at home.

Ramsay said that when they heard the announcement, Tana told him “we have good news”.

“I said, ‘What is it, dear?'”, He recalled. “She said, ‘Tomorrow night, we can go to number six.’

“I have to talk to her,” Fallon replied with a laugh. “No, no, it’s not fair!”

Ramsay also revealed that none of his children want to follow in his footsteps and become a chef, although he hopes that this could change with his newest 21-month-old Oscar.

“Oscar, in my opinion, is my last hope of putting someone in the industry,” said Ramsay. “Our oldest daughter is working in public relations, Holly – our middle daughter – is doing fashion. Tilly is taking a gap year, Jack has become a Royal Marine. Everyone has left the nest and no one wants to cook.”

Ramsay said he hopes that by refining Oscar’s palate now, he can convince his son to a life in the kitchen.

“It starts with a nice morning oatmeal with caramelized banana,” Ramsay told Fallon. “I’m going to make some scrambled egg on toast for lunch, and then for dinner tonight he ate some roasted pumpkin soup!”

“That boy is very spoiled, are you kidding me!” Fallon said. “But you know that no one is going to take over the family business – that’s how life works.”

“I think they’ve been watching a lot of ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ reruns thinking ‘F — that, that’s not my career!'” Ramsay replied, referring to the popular TV show where he tries to help save restaurants bankrupt.

Although Ramsay’s older children may not have great culinary aspirations, they still enjoy cooking.

In August, Ramsay filmed a TikTok of himself reacting while his 21-year-old daughter Holly tried to make her potato gnocchi recipe.

“Holly! I thought I taught you better,” he wrote in the caption.

And Ramsay’s 19-year-old daughter, Tilly, made headlines when she revealed on TikTok that she actually prefers her mother’s food over what her father “MasterChef” does.
