Google Photos is one of the most popular photo backup services out there. While unlimited free backup (ending soon) is probably the strongest draw, features like search and automatic albums definitely give you an edge over others. Memories is another one of those blessings and it became even more important after last year’s redesign, which put it at the top of the app. The resource recently started to focus on its favorite people and things, and is now receiving a new children’s story entitled “Out to Play”.
The story is a collection of moments of children playing in the sun, as shown in the images below. It is a warm reminder of the times when COVID-19 did not restrict young people to stay and play within four walls.
Memórias offers a personalized curation of moments that you have stored in the service. In the past, stories of people and the year under analysis were shown. But due to the theme of this story, you may not see this coming up in your Google Photos app, unless you have kids. If you’ve taken enough photos of them having fun on the playground, expect the app to serve as a souvenir that will give you a warm feeling.
