Golden State Warriors currently looking like a completely different team

On the second night of consecutive games against the San Antonio Spurs, the Golden State Warriors looked like a different team. Stephen Curry finished with 32 points in just 32 minutes and was able to stay out for the entire fourth period.

Curry received a lot of help from his teammates. Kelly Oubre double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, Eric Pachall recorded 15 points off the bench and Draymond Green added 11 assists in a game in which the Warriors won 114-91.

This was a Golden State back to back received after losing 105-100 the night before to the Spurs. “It was a good recovery win,” said Stephen Curry after the game. This victory ends a four-game trip for the Warriors, ending with a 2-2 record. Coach Steve Kerr said he is satisfied, but feels that they could have done much better.

Golden State begins to enter the offensive pace as a team with great movement of the ball and hits for the basket. Green has recorded double-digit assists in all of his last 4 games.

“We are starting to find this flow and this pace, the guys are learning to play with me and Steph,” said Green. Golden State had 7 double-digit players in Tuesday night’s game.

One of the double-digit scorers was Oakland native Juan Toscano-Anderson. Toscano-Anderson has received many accolades in the last four games, but the love he feels off the court may be his favorite. He received the 2019-20 NBA G League community assistance award.

“I have a priority to help others,” Toscano-Anderson told the media in an interview after the game. Golden State will need help from Toscano-Anderson if they want their record to improve, especially with James Wiseman still out due to injury.

The first half of this match with the Spurs was competitive and ended in a draw at 50 points each. However, the highlight of the game came in the first quarter, with Stephen Curry heading for the basket, finishing off a spectacular layup when he was knocked down.

Draymond and Toscano-Anderson said the move was of the Jordan type. Curry didn’t agree, instead he said, “I changed hands, that’s the only comparison.” He said he will proudly accept the recognition of making Smitty in the rim segment.

In the third quarter, Curry and the Warriors put their foot on the pedal, pushing the game out of their reach. It was a quarter when it looked like no one could lose, Curry danced a little and they took an 86-70 lead and never looked back.

The win gives Golden State an overall record of 13-12, which is good for 8th place in the Western Conference.

Prediction of Domantas Sabonis, Pacers, Bucks, Pacers Nets
