Godzilla x Kong causes important details about Kong’s weapon

The Godzilla vs. Kong trailer has been breaking records since it was released online earlier this week, and fans are taking the opportunity to study every nook and cranny of the revealed footage, with an action figure for the Skull Island ruler revealing an important detail about a greater giant primates than weapons of life. With Godzilla having the ability to nuclear fire from his guts against his opponents, Kong needs all the advantages he can get and it definitely looks like one of the weapons he will use is quite familiar to the lizard king!

The long-awaited battle between Godzilla and Kong is taking place after the lizard king’s rise to power in the previous King of the Monsters movie, managing to defeat King Ghidorah and Mothra to obtain the crown. Although Kong has not appeared since his first film in Legendary Pictures’ “Monster-Verse”, Kong: Skull Island, he returned with a vengeance, having grown in size to be comparable to the lizard king when it comes to his stature. With Godzilla apparently attacking mankind for reasons still unknown, theories are starting to spin on social media about why the lizard king became a rebel, with some believing that MechaGodzilla could be the real perpetrator when it comes to the destruction unleashed on the world.

Twitter Outlet The Kaiju News Outlet shared the first look at the figure of Kong from the next Legendary crossover, which shows the Skull Island ruler wielding an ax that appears to have been formed using a part of Godzilla himself, proving to be an ingenious way to fight against current king of monsters:

In the trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong, we see the giant monkey using its ax to deflect the atomic breath of the lizard king, giving us some additional evidence that the ax can be made using one of Godzilla’s scales to make it much more deadly.

Do you think Kong’s ax is using a piece of Godzilla himself? Feel free to tell us in the comments or contact me directly on Twitter @EVComedy to talk about comics, anime and the world of kaiju!
