Girl, 17, survives, like two shot dead at Arouca’s house | Extra News

TWO men were killed and a 17-year-old girl was injured in a home invasion during the early hours of Saturday morning.

This incident happened at Bon Air Gardens, in Arouca, resulting in the two men – Chris “Bellies” Williams and Shawn Anthony Williams – both being shot dead.

The girl was shot in the ankle and remained in the hospital until Saturday morning.

Police reports say the men were in a house along Sparrow Drive, Arouca, at about 2:40 am, when armed men broke into and started shooting.

Chris was found on the bedroom floor wearing a black vest and white boxer. He had gunshot wounds to his torso and stomach.

Shawn was found on top of a basket of clothes in a room wearing a black shirt and boxers. He had gunshot wounds to his neck and leg.

The police said they were told that the girl and her mother were sleeping in the house when they were woken by “loud noises”.

The mother’s boyfriend (Chris) was preparing dog food on the spot in the kitchen, but soon started shouting “gunmen, gunmen”.

Two men dressed in black and wearing masks broke into the house and started shooting.

During the melee, the girl was also shot in the right ankle.

Both men were declared dead in that scene.
