On Sunday, The Crown star Gillian Anderson addressed Alec Baldwin shading his ‘change’ from a British-American accent, which led him to delete his Twitter account last Wednesday.
“It is not a noteworthy item,” the 52-year-old bidialetal man told ET. – But I’m sad that it caused him so much suffering.
Gillian was born in Chicago, but has lived in London since 2002, after growing up from 2 to 11 years old.

“Some people sent messages saying something was going on,” recalls Anderson.
‘I didn’t pay any attention to that because it’s just something that I live through. I grew up between two countries and depending on who is in my ear is which direction my accent goes. So, I’m so used to it that it’s kind of old news for me.

“Standing there in front of that room, be it the Golden Globe room or the SAG room or whatever, is incredibly intimidating,” explained Anderson.
‘It’s intense! So, you know, being able to sit in a hotel room and sit on a couch and be alone and not see the hundreds of people, or maybe thousands of people who may be watching, is a cool show. ‘
The entire Crown cast will also compete for the coveted performance of a set in a dramatic series trophy, which is the equivalent of the best film in the SAG.
