Gigi Hadid is spending some quality time with her daughter.
On Tuesday, the 25-year-old supermodel shared a sweet photo of herself cradling 6-month-old daughter Khai in her arms.
“the best 💓,” said Hadid as the photo caption.
Shaking her freshly dyed red hair, the mother of one of them – who received Khai with her boyfriend Zayn Malik last September – added some Z’s above the child’s head to show that she was sleeping.
Hadid refrained from showing his daughter’s face in photos, an approach similar to the one she took during pregnancy, when she didn’t share photos of her belly until a month before Khai’s arrival.

In an interview with Vogue published last month, the model talked about why she and Malik, 28, prioritized protecting their children’s privacy.
“I have friends who are public figures and this is how they act, and I see their children really flourish in a different way,” she said, referring to Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who have three children together.
Hadid’s sister, Bella Hadid, also told the publication: “I think she wants to be real online, but until her son wants to be in the limelight and can make the decision on his own, she doesn’t want to put him in that position.”
However, this does not mean that Hadid is not open to giving fans glimpses of motherhood. In December, she shared that she was working again two months after giving birth, writing on her Instagram Stories, “I would say I would be back 2 work, BUT being a mom is a job like no other.”
Recently, Hadid shared some never-before-seen photos of her pregnancy and postpartum life. Among the photos included a photo of Malik pushing Khai’s cart and his daughter dressed in an all pink outfit.

Reflecting on Khai’s surrender, Hadid said in his Vogue interview that she had to “dig deep” during childbirth at home.
“There was definitely a point where I was like, ‘I wonder what it would be like with an epidural, how it would be different,'” she recalled. “My midwife looked at me and said, ‘You are doing this. Nobody can help you. You have already passed the epidural point, so you would be pushing in exactly the same way on a hospital bed. ‘ “
Hadid went on to share that although she and Malik are in the clouds about becoming parents, they are not in a hurry to expand their family yet. “Then Z and I looked at each other and thought, ‘We can have some time before we do this again!’ “she added.
