After four months of secrecy, Gigi Hadid finally revealed her daughter’s name. The supermodel, who shares her daughter with international singer Zayn Malik, accessed her Instagram biography and considered herself Khai’s mother. The addition to the biography was soon discovered and fans rooting for Gigi finally decided to reveal the name. While fans are excited to learn the baby’s name ZiGi, Just Jared noted that he could maintain a connection with the beautiful model’s grandmother.
The international publication pointed out that Gigi’s grandmother, that is, the name of Mohamed Hadid’s mother is Khairiah. It is possible that Gigi named her daughter Khai as a subtle nod to her grandmother. Gigi’s change in biography comes a day after she celebrates her daughter’s fourth month birthday. In September, Zayn and Gigi accessed their Instagram and shared a photo of Zayn and the girl to announce the arrival of their daughter. “Our girl joined us on the side of the earth this weekend and she has already changed our world. So in love,” Gigi wrote as she shared the little girl’s first glimpse. “Our girl is here, healthy and beautiful
trying to put into words how I’m feeling now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this little human is beyond my comprehension. Grateful to meet you, proud to call you mine, and grateful for the life we will have together x ”, said Zayn at the time.
While the revealed name got everyone excited, Gigi took to their stories on Instagram and shared that the former member of One Direction had become a chef overnight.
