Time works differently on Maskverse, so the show is already in season five somehow, and clearly they’re running out of cute ideas for normal costumes like “Mouse” and “Egg”. Now, they seek inspiration by probing the depths of our nightmares. It is the only explanation for this preview clip of the fifth season in which two giant Russian dolls (well, one truly giant and one slightly less giant) duet with “Shallow” A star is born. His painted eyes stare straight ahead, immobile and penetrating. The greater man’s mouth slides up and down like the mannequin of a sentient ventriloquist.
