Get ready for more Activision Blizzard remasters in 2021

Crash Bandicoot Trilogy

The power of video games, Activision Blizzard, has been investing heavily for some time, thanks to a series of remasters.

We saw the return of IP as Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk professional skater on Activision’s side, while Blizzard contributed titles like Warcraft III: Reforgedthat obviously didn’t go well with the fans.

In the company’s last earnings call, she noted how more of that “remastered content” is likely to appear sometime this year:

“We have some other things up our sleeve in terms of remastered content that will be revealed in due course, which should provide us with more opportunities this year.”

In 2019, Activision said it had many IPs that it believed fans wanted to try again – while referencing the successful Crash and Spyro revival.

As for Blizzard, more recent reports suggest that it may be working on a Diablo 2 redo.

In related news, the team-based hero shooting game was also confirmed Overwatch 2 will not be launching this year. For more information on this, see our previous post.
