Get discounts using your vaccination card at these Milwaukee area companies

Your COVID-19 vaccination card does not just show that you are protected against the coronavirus. It can also lead to some cool discounts at companies in the area.

When completing doses of the vaccine, you should receive a vaccination card.

Now, several companies in our area are offering promotions: show your card, get discounts or other advantages.

Black Husky Brewing
909 E Locust St, Milwaukee

This Milwaukee pub is giving away a free beer to anyone showing the vaccination card.

“Prost against your dose! Show your COVID-19 vaccination registration card and get a free beer, courtesy of Black Husky!” the company posted on social media.

The Iron Horse Hotel
500 W Florida St, Milwaukee

Walker’s Point boutique hotel is now distributing a free dose of alcohol to customers who show their vaccine sticker or card.

The hotel wrote on social media: “That’s right, we are giving our vaccinated friends one injection at a time: show us your vaccine sticker or card and we will give you a free injection with Marca.”

First-tier spirits are excluded.

Krispy Kreme
2900 S 108th St, West Allis, all locations

As of Monday, March 22, Krispy Kreme says that customers who have received at least one dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, or the Johnson & Johnson single dose vaccine, are eligible for a free donut in all stores all over the country.

All you need to bring to get your donut is a valid COVID-19 vaccination card.

The deal is being offered for the rest of the year and is only valid in person at the drive-thru or in the store.

Shawarma House
2921 N Oakland Ave, Milwaukee
17385 W Bluemound Rd, Brookfield

Shawarma House, known for its Middle Eastern cuisine, now offers a 15% discount on your order if you show the vaccination card. The restaurant initiated the offer by announcing that its team was fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.

“We are happy and proud to share this great news with all of you and we recommend that you also get #getvacinated,” the company posted on social media.

Staples
Multiple locations

Staples is offering the lamination of COVID-19 vaccination cards for free.

People who bring the card issued by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after receiving the second dose, Staples will laminate for free.

The offer is valid in national locations until April 3.

The offer is only available in the store and the coupon code is 81450.

MKE Up-Down
615 E Brady St, Milwaukee

The 21-year-old Up-Down MKE arcade bar is encouraging residents to get the COVID-19 vaccine, offering 20 free game tokens to those who show a completed vaccination card.

The offer starts Monday. Guests only need to show their completed vaccination card to the bartender or waiter to collect their tokens. Tokens can be used to play the various indoor arcade games.

Up-Down says that during the first three weeks of the program, the tokens will be given to anyone who has a vaccination card. After that, newly vaccinated people can bring their card up to three weeks after the second dose.

The promotion will continue through the summer, “to reward everyone for taking this important step towards community safety,” according to a statement from the arcade.
