Georgian man who appeared in the 90-day fiance next to star Angela Deem accused of murder

A man from Georgia, who appeared in season 3 of 90 Day Groom by-product 90-day groom: before 90 days alongside star Angela Deem, he was charged with murder, the Georgia Bureau of Investigations said in a press release.

Douglas Wooten, 39, was arrested on January 7 on charges of intentional homicide, home invasion, armed robbery and cruelty to second-degree children in connection with the death of Marcos Ramirez, 54, according to the agency.

Wooten, which was presented in Before 90 days as “DJ Doug,” the event coordinator at the Cotton Patch wedding venue in Deem’s hometown, was entered into Jeff Davis County Prison after surrendering to Hazlehurst, Georgia.

Federal officials said the Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office responded to Mark Hall Drive number 21 on January 4, after a report that someone had been shot.

When the police arrived, they discovered that Ramirez had been shot dead, with several gunshot wounds.

The following day, a warrant was issued for Wooten prison. Three other men were also arrested in connection with the murder, according to police.

The murder investigation is active and ongoing.

It was not possible to immediately identify a Wooten lawyer to comment on his behalf.

A representative for 90 Day Groom declined to comment when contacted by PEOPLE.
