George Clooney talks about the quarantine with his wife Amal, 3-year-old twins: “It’s been an adventure”

Like many, George Clooney has been at home during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Hollywood titan has been living at home with his wife for more than six years, Amal. The two also share 3-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella.

At a round table organized virtually by the Los Angeles Times, the “Michael Clayton” actor, 59, talked about what life has been like for him for much of the year.

“It’s been nine months inside the house,” he said. “I have 3 year old twins, so this has been quite an adventure in washing dishes and changing diapers.”

He also mentioned his 87-year-old father, who lives in Kentucky.

“I miss being with my family,” admitted Clooney. “We are very grateful that we can be in our homes and have some security, because there are many people around the world who do not.”

The actor’s most recent film, “The Midnight Sky”, shows himself in the role of a scientist whose own isolation strangely resembles the quarantine brought on by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“It was an interesting thing,” Clooney told Fox News last month.

“We finished in February, just before everyone was arrested, which was one of those moments when they said, ‘Don’t worry, it only affects the elderly …’”, he continued. “Before [the lockdown], the idea was what we could do with each other 30 years from now, if we ignore science or if we continue in line with the division. “

“So when we got to the pandemic, we started to cut out the idea of our inability to return home, our inability to see each other. My inability to see my mom and dad,” explained the actor, who also directed the film. “This became a much stronger theme while we were in post-production.”

“To be honest, it’s unfortunate,” he said of life imitating art in this case. “It is a pity that these parallels exist, it is a pity that we are in the position we are in.”
