Developers of Impact GenshinmiHoYo has stocked PS5 consoles to offer a great deal to its employees. The company distributed technology such as PS5 consoles, Switch consoles, iPhones and RTX GPUs to its employees through a lottery system. [Thanks, ZhugeEX!]
Second analyst Daniel Ahmad, miHoYo held the draw during its annual employee meeting. In the spirit of Impact Genshin, PS5s and other technology hardware were donated through a gacha system. The format was not to be daring, however. The hardware was all in limited quantity (especially the PS5s), so I had to do the draw that way. Employee bonuses were a way of thanking studio workers for the successful year the company had in 2020.
Daniel Ahmad stated in his tweets, “due to the limited stock, they employed a lottery / gacha system”. Ahmad also clarified: “This system is only for those unique gifts, not for any other financial compensation / bonuses that they earn.”
Impact Genshin is now available for PlayStation 4, PC and mobile devices. A Nintendo Switch port is in development.
