Genshin Impact is getting a new type of story search that looks a bit like a dating simulator as part of the next update 1.4.
The update, scheduled for March 17, is called the Windblume Invitation and is released on PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4 and, via backward compatibility, PlayStation 5.
All players who have reached Adventure Rank 20 or above and completed the Song of the Dragon and Freedom quest line receive an invitation to participate in the game’s spring festival. The trailer is below:
Expect a series of mini-games and challenges with rewards, including two exclusive festival items: the Windblume Festival Commemorative Balloon and the Windsong Lyre. There is a new four-star weapon, called Windblume Ode.
This new type of story search has multiple endings to give players “some quality time hanging out with Barbara, Noelle, Bennett and Chongyun, creating a rich range of memories together,” said developer miHoYo. The official trailer suggests that there will be more of these “hangout events” added to the game in the future.

Meanwhile, “Thorny Benevolence” Rosaria joins the game as the latest playable four-star character. Here is the official synopsis:
“Wielding a pole weapon and the power of Cryo, Rosaria can quickly maneuver behind her enemy to attack from behind. Her Elemental Blast unleashes a powerful blow, causing high DMG Cryo, followed by steady bursts of AoE Cryo DMG to nearby enemies over. a period of time. “
Other new features include the ability to store up to five Condensed Resins in your inventory at any time and the ability to lower your World Level to suit single-player and co-op mode.
