Genshin Impact Details – New Hangout events

In case you missed it, Impact Genshin The developer miHoYo previously revealed that it will add a new type of story search called “Hangout Events” to the title when the next update to version 1.4, “Invitation of Windblume”, launches on March 17. Before the big update was released, the developer offered more details on what to expect from the Hangout events when they arrive in just a few days.

Hangout events will allow players to spend time with specific characters individually – Barbara, Noelle, Bennett and Chongyun – and feature multiple endings. To access these events, players will need to use Story Keys to unlock each one, complete “Song of the Dragon and Freedom” and have Adventure Rank 26 or higher. Different dialog options at Hangout events influence the direction of the story, and a heartbeat value will affect whether the event continues or whether players fail the mission.

Players can try to repeat the various Hangout events without using more Story Keys, and there is a mission progression map that will allow people to jump to specific parts of the mission – which seems fair to assume unlocking only once experienced initially. The different endings mentioned above are required to complete if players want to collect the different prizes available.

Impact Genshin is currently available, free to play, for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC and mobile devices. The video game is also set to eventually be released for the Nintendo Switch. The update to version 1.4, “Invitation of Windblume”, is scheduled to be released on March 17. You can check out all of our previous coverage of the popular free-to-play title here.
