Want to know everything you can unlock at Bennett’s hangout event? Genshin Impact 1.4 introduced a brand new minigame to get to know some of the characters better. This specific meeting point gives you the opportunity to learn about Bennett by asking questions, accompanying him on a hike and even helping him on some important missions.
You can screw up a hangout by saying the wrong thing, ending the conversation abruptly. You can prevent this from happening by checking all the different endings below, including a method to unlock two secret achievements. So far, the only characters who have hangout events are four stars: Barbara, Noelle, Chongyun and Bennett. There is a theory circulating in the Impact Genshin community that these locations will be for any character without story missions, so essentially anyone other than a five-star character. Here’s everything you need to know about the Bennett hangout event at Genshin Impact.
Fruitless anticipation

You can say anything to Bennett in the first dialogue options without disturbing him, although the conversation can take many forms when he mentions going on an adventure. Select the option “We could just do something else” when Bennett is struggling to decide what to do. For the next question, avoid the option “As long as you don’t cause too many problems”, as this will cause you to lose a heart. Finally, choose “How about we go out in the city?” to continue.
Again, the next options don’t matter, as they all end up with the same result. At some point in the conversation, while waiting for Blanche to return, the option to say “I must say I lost my temper a long time ago …” will appear. Do not select this option, as you will lose a heart. When you have the option, tell Bennett to cheer up and complete the ending of ‘Anticipation without fruit’.
Hurried farewell

When Bennett asks where you want to go, this time select “How about a walk in the jungle?” that will take you to Dandelion Meadow. When you get to Bennett in this area, tell him “It’s not quite what I expected …” to which he will apologize for the lack of dandelions. Reassure him that his plan was not a waste of time, instead of scolding him for not knowing that the dandelions had been harvested. Instead, Bennett wants to show you five nearby chests that contain precious items.
After looting all five chests, talk to Bennett and tell him “No wonder there were no monsters protecting them …”. Bennett is not aware of his bad luck, so avoid talking about it if you want to keep all five hearts. Unlocking this ending also unlocks the ‘Archaic Lord of Lightning and Blitz’ achievement.

When Bennett asks what you would like to do, this time respond with “Sure! Let’s go on an adventure! ”. Bennett will then ask you if you want to prepare some food before you leave – be sure to tell him yes. Make any dish and go to the Temple of the Wolf. Your next options will not matter until you speak to Royce.
To get the end of the Taste Tester Royce, select “You cooked, you can do whatever you want with it” when Bennett asks for your opinion. Royce will eat the food, falling to the ground when tasting it.
Ready to make sacrifices

When asked what to do with the food, tell Bennett “Don’t even think about it. You don’t owe him anything. ” Each option after this does not matter, although you will have to navigate through several pitfalls soon after that. There is nothing you can do to avoid these pitfalls; they will be activated regardless of what you choose to do.

Bennett will ask if you want to make food before going on an adventure. Tell him “No, I usually leave immediately” to avoid any meal preparation. None of his choices matter from this point on, except when Bennett asks about triggering a nearby mechanism. Choose “Go ahead! We won’t get anywhere just by looking at them ”, and select the left or right mechanism.

This path starts in the same way; asking to go on an adventure and telling Bennett “I usually go out immediately” when he asks if you want to make food first. This time, when Bennett asks you about the mechanism, select “Hmm, how can I let you face the danger alone?” Open the doors ahead and avoid the option “They are all traitors”, as this will cause you to lose a heart.
If you can navigate the next puzzle without fail, you can win a secret conquest. This puzzle can be restarted at any time, so don’t feel bad if you make a mistake. After completing the puzzle, you will unlock the ‘Power of Luck’ achievement.
