Genshin Impact 1.3 release time – countdown to Xiao’s banner

Mihoyo confirmed when you can expect the next Genshin Impact update to go live. The developer posted an update on his website that details everything you need to know, from downtime and compensation to event times and general changes in quality of life.

The downtime for Genshin Impact update 1.3 will begin on February 3 at 2:00 pm PST / 5:00 pm EST / 10:00 pm GMT, and should last “about 5 hours,” confirms Mihoyo. However, all of these are subject to change, as you can never be sure of what may appear. You are receiving compensation of the order of 300 Primogems for downtime, which equates to 60 every hour. Mihoyo says, however, that you will still receive the full sum if the update is completed earlier.

Once the maintenance is done, the wish for Xiao’s event, Invitation to Worldly Life, begins, which is your chance to beat the demon hunter if you’re lucky. Beside the yaksha guardian, you could pull Diona, Beidou and Xinyan. Mihoyo adds that everyone’s dropout rates will be “greatly increased” from the start of the event until February 17th.

We also discovered that the second character banner in the update would be Liyue Qixing’s Yuheng, Kequing. She is a user of Electro with sword and you will have the chance to add her to your team when Dance of Lanterns starts on February 17th.

The rest of the patch notes for update 1.3 explain other changes and quality of life updates that have been suggested so far, such as Zhongli’s necessary rework. If you like to read them, you can find them on the developer’s website.
