Gaon announced the overall chart results for 2020!
On January 8, the annual digital chart, download chart, streaming chart and album chart were released last year.
The results are based on weekly data accumulated since January 2020, so the albums and songs released earlier this year have more weekly scores included in the results.
Digital graphics
Zico’s “Any song” topped the overall digital chart in 2020 and is followed by Changmo’s “METEOR” and Jo Jung Suk of OST’s “Hospital Playlist”. “Your Shampoo Scent in the Flowers” by Jang Beom June and “Blueming” by IU are among the top five. Nos. 2, 4 and 5 are songs from 2019, but continued to maintain their strength in 2020.
The top five for the streaming chart are the same as for the digital chart.
“Any song”, “Your Shampoo Scent in the Flowers” and “Blueming” also ranked in the top five in the download chart. BTS’s Dynamite came in second, and Lim Young Woong’s “Trust in Me” came in fourth.

BTS reached the top two on the album chart with 4,376,975 copies recorded for “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” and 2,692,022 copies for “BE (Deluxe Edition).” SEVENTEEN came in third with 1,377,813 copies for “Heng: garæ,” while “NCT RESONACE Pt. 1” is No. 4 with 1,289,594 copies. BLACKPINK’s album “THE ALBUM” recorded 1,244,802 to be in the top five.
