GameStop launches PlayStation 5 in batches, users struggle to place orders

GameStop is launching the PlayStation 5 in batches, at least at the time of writing. The retailer is currently up on Twitter, and that’s because a few moments ago it launched a new PS5 stock. However, unlike some previous PS5 restocking, GameStop has released this last bit of stock in batches. That said, while GameStop adjusted its distribution for this latest stock, it was not enough to change the experience of many customers, who once again encountered problems on the site, bots swallowing stock and everything else that comes when trying to order the PS5.

As always, the whole process was a mess and many PlayStation players were also disappointed to see limited packaged inventory. In other words, the refueling did not include any option to purchase the console and only the console. The entire inventory was limited to several packages that included PlayStation Plus games and subscriptions.

It is important to note that by the time you are reading this, replenishment has almost certainly run out, and that is because the batches, despite being packages, are going in literal minutes.

At the time of publication, there was no word on any future refueling. There are now many frustrated customers.
