The South Carolina football team returned to the training ground on Monday for the first time in more than a week. The team had the whole of last week plus the weekend off practice in the field, but will be back four times this week, including the team’s first friendly match.
The Gamecocks, under the head coach of the first year Shane Beamer, will play on Saturday morning and then will have a press conference at noon. The team will also play on Saturday, April 17, for the second and last time, ahead of the Garnet & Black Spring game the following weekend.
Several members of the coaching staff and players will also meet with members of the media this week, so stay tuned to the website for coverage on the defensive line coach on Monday Jimmy Lindsey as well as offensive line coach Greg Adkins.
