The men’s basketball competition between South Carolina and 19th, Tennessee, on Tuesday evening at 8:30 pm, was postponed to Wednesday at 9 pm. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.

The SEC announced that the reason for the change is due to “a the result of a combination of positive testing, contact tracking and subsequent quarantine of individuals within the Tennessee basketball program, consistent with the Southeastern Conference’s COVID-19 management requirements. “

This is Carolina’s fourth conference game that has been changed due to the COVID-19 health and safety protocols. The previous three – in Kentucky, Ole Miss and Tennessee – have been postponed indefinitely. The Gamecocks (5-9, 3-7) are trying to fight a streak of three consecutive defeats, all at home.
